Due to the high numbers of 'owner surrendered' dogs and litters of puppies that are still coming in most of the dogs/pups that have been with us for a while have had their adoption fee REDUCED ! Who We Are
Bear’s World is a non-profit educational pet safety program for Pre-K thru 5th grade school children. For the past 8 years our dog 'Bear' has been traveling the state of GA visiting school children teaching a 'pet safety class'. Companion Animal Connection' is Bear’s World’s new ‘animal rescue & adoption’ program created to assist families looking for a companion animal.
When I created Bear’s World, my goal was to give something precious to children - the opportunity to enjoy a happy and healthy bond with companion animals that can be the foundation for a lifetime of pet guardianship.
Children raised with pets show many benefits:
•Developing positive feelings about pets can contribute to a child’s self-esteem and self-confidence.
•Positive relationships with pets can aid in the development of trusting relationships with others.
•A good relationship with a pet can also help in developing non-verbal communication, compassion, and empathy.
Most families choose the wrong type of pet for their family's lifestyle or fail to understand that animals are not a 'novelty'. Sadly, many of these pets end up ‘abandoned’ in an animal shelter which promotes the message that animals are ‘disposable’.
Adopting a life-long friend
To adopt a companion animal from our organization you must visit us at one of our off-site adoption locations and fill out an application.
Adoption fees:
•For most puppies/dogs - $299.00
•For most kittens/cats - $169.00
Adoption Fee can be paid by cash or local check.
The adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, heartworm test, and ALL vaccinations (except Rabies). All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS. All our animals are de-wormed and treated with Frontline Plus to prevent fleas. You'll also receive a coupon for pet supplies, a FREE bag of Nutro pet food and a FREE PetsIncredible Dog or Cat training DVD.

PETSMART - NEXT TO TRADER JOE'S - ON W CROSSVILLE RD (HWY 92) IN ROSWELL
With the exceptionally Cold Saturdays we have had lately our hours are from 12 Noon till 2:30 pm. If you would like to see a particular dog or cat at one of our Saturday Roswell Petsmart Adoptions be sure to call us by Friday to make sure they will be there !
